Introducing our EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM, specially designed to provide children between 2 and 6 years of age with a strong foundation in dance movement. It teaches the young dancers the basic elements of movement, dance, space and how we relate to it as both individuals and as members of a group. Elements include loco motor movements, musical rhythm, beat and time, opposites and directions and some elementary positions of ballet.

Integrated with these elements are physical concepts of self-awareness, creative expression, imagination, teamwork and basic body health awareness.

Tap is a popular form of American dance movement in which the student emphasizes the steps by rhythmic tapping of the floor with heels & toes performed in special shoes with metal taps attached.

Jazz Dance teaches primary and contemporary styles of movement. Less formalized than ballet. Jazz expands the student’s sense of interpretation and movement. This style is similar to Broadway dancing and what your might see on popular music videos.

Hip-Hop is a style of dance that incorporates urban street dance with jazz dance movements. It defines and reinvents early vernacular jazz dances and movements. Backed up by popular music, many characteristics of African dance are evident.
